I am surprised this topic was completely missing here. Maybe because moving the event from usual date at the end of July to the beginning?

but eh, roope, llarena, lindholm, marczyk, ostberg, mabellini, jon, mille, tempestini, jos, max, phil, solans... what an amazing field.
tho i miss heikkila, he looked promising! and sean jonston, the american. he was a fun dude (tho he was in wrc2, not erc?)

Don't you underestimate Andrea Crugnola, who won the last 2 editions?

Quite a few of those ERC guys are more gravel-orrientated so wont challenge for the top.
Jon Armstrong should do really well after a big 'test' on the 3-day Donegal Rally. But he needs a reliable car as the Fiesta let him down there, plus a bit of luck which he rarely gets.
Of the others, Mabellini should go close, but I doubt anyone will beat the top Italians.
