If also Rossel Senior wins last stage of the day in RC2 I think we will have for the first time case when all SS were won by same person in rally1 and rally2 on WRC event?
Otherwise the balance of Toyota`s looks amazing, only Katsuta sometimes correcting the car in the (fast) curves, but car looks unbelievably stable.Last edited by jcevc; 25th April 2025 at 18:42.

Toyota's placed 1-2-3-4-5 overall at the end of day one. It must be a long time since one Team did this, if ever.

It’s certainly not riveting. The fact we have Rally1 Toyota, Rally1 Hyundai and Rally1 Ford classes isn’t helping.
The quality of the Toyota chassis is exposing the others badly here. The updated Hyundai almost looks like what happened with the Citroen C3 WRC. When it was loose and inconsistent at the beginning, it was dynamite on dry tarmac, and when they ‘fixed’ it, the understeer on tarmac was terrible. The Puma looks horrendous, badly balanced, no grip and killing the front tyres. I hope when they look into the carrier bag of set ups tonight they can find something better.

I think they are "just" disappointed and frustrated that once again, Hyundai is not up to par with Toyota, and this time it's a very difficult car to balance / setup. Considering last year Hyundai was the closest it has been to Toyota in quite some years, with good speed and good reliability, this year the gap is so much bigger.
