This stage also starts with a wide roundabout similar to Moya. It rained pretty heavily shortly before I drove this stage, therefore lots of standing water in the beginning. It is nice to drive, but for spectators I hardly see any spots apart from the roundabout and the two junctions, as mostly you have rocks or cliffs on one side and guardrails on the other side of the road. The hairpins in the end look interesting on the map, but I don't expect any driver to use the handbrake there as they are very wide. So this stage has some unique features, but overall I think the other stages are more interesting.

SS9/SS12 Tejeda-San Mateo (Gran Canaria) recorded by GHrallyemotion (POV)

"This stage for sure has the best view into the beautiful landscape of Gran Canarias landscape. The road winds itself around the mountains on very nice tarmac - an absolute joy to drive!
After the village of Ayacata we had to follow a bus for a few meters taking people up to the walking path to the famous Roque Nublo. After passing the Roque Nublo section, the landscape changes from the mountainous and desert-like to more green and more foresty. The weather might play a big role on this stage, as there might be very different conditions in the first part compared to the last part. For spectators, the junction at 22:00 will be the easiest place to get to"

Tomorrow will be the last day for entries.
I think there is a chance of seeing Ogier in Gran Canaria.
On the other hand, there are rumours that several ERC regulars and private drivers from Czech Republic, Austria etc. will be in Gran Canaria with Rally 2.

Really? I think this is all we can ask for, considering the current condition of the rally sport.
