Yeah, Hyundai is as good as gone. Give 2 years to the Rally 2s, imo. And open up the championship. No set teams, no nominations, nothing. Top 2 drivers of any manufacturer score points. That will instantly bring Skoda and Citroen back, allow Hyundai to maintain presence and let Toyota and Ford continue their involvement.

There are no manufacturers left, icymi. Even Toyota only continues because of Akio Toyoda's will. The rest of the board is against the WRC program.

hmmmm weird.
oh, btw... when does redbull gmbh contract with FIA/WRC ends? they are selling the wrc promoter but isnt kinda obvious that the other interested promoters would just wait until the contract is gone to sign up for a cheaper price?

Remember there were talks P1 fuels are going bankrupt & that Aramco would come instead starting next month? Well...guess what? Total Energies (what used to be Total up until 2021) will be the new fuel suppliers going forward: https://www.autosport.com/wrc/news/f...705741/...Call me optimistic but maybe having a french fuel supplier might fuel (sorry, pun intended) a french manufacturer down the line...(?)
Only you know your true potential.

But you all who loves coming Rally2 cars are forgotting one thing. Most of the Rally2 programmes are customer based. And more important thing - this three current Rally1 manufactures are bringing huge money, from which WRC Promoter and FIA are living. If they will loose manufacturers, they will loose their money. I am not sure if championship can survive without money from manufacturers...
