But hey, at least we can hear Rally Radio….also it’s only been two years since he joined full time, but I can’t stand hearing Mike Chen anymore, his voice is annoying as hell and it’s not as if he has anything to add to “recap everything that just happened as if we’re still in radio Becksy”… no chance of this promoter changing I guess…

Improving Team Radios doesn't automatically means that they need to spoil tactics and stuff. But come on, Jarmo's congrats to Elfyn were enthusiast as a tax officer. On this side, WRC promoter can "suggest" teams and drivers to have some more colourful comments on their team radios.
Since there's not much manufacturers and there's no new on sight in the near future, it would be great to build some "characters" to the broader audience, which can compensate the lack of competition (which is exactly what F1 did when Mercedes was taking basically everything!) on a media perspective.

Before any of that, I'd suggest replacing the whole WRC TV Livecrew team...I'm sorry, they're there since 2005? 2006? and have only gotten worse over the years....it's enough you hear Paul King back in 2007, or even in 2011, or hell, even 2019 which was his last year doing the highlights alongside Jon Desborough and you'd see the decline...Becks Williams, I think enough has been said about her...the only thing I might do there is bring her back as a radio only (no tv) option...otherwise.... and don't get me started on Kiri Bloore...

I'd also replace Becs (...) and Chen (good only for an after-show on YT with Kiri lmao) with Paul King and Julian Porter, as for the other stage commentary I'd look around to other young guys I had to listen for other championships.
I don't understand why WRC Promoter is not looking at some of the guys they're streaming motorsport on Twitch etc.
GT World Challenge took for their multilingual streams people from there and they're hell good!
As for the Team Radio again, this can be easily fixed with a meeting from WRC Promoter in which there's some tips to bring out their character. Imagine Sesks quoting memes and stuff with his engineer, would be super entertaining for the audience!

I liked Mike Chen a lot when he joined. Something different than hearing the same people every rally. Recently it has started bugging me. It's the constant talking, but also the constant repetition of the same things. They get so lost in the talking that they even miss out on stuff happening on screen or just barely make a quick note of it.
The quality improves tenfold when there are guest commentators, preferably current/former drivers/co-drivers. Not only can they bring to the table more relevant information, but they also tend to speak less.
They went way overboard on the power stage especially, I get exhausted listening to it. I don't want to listen without commentators, I just want them to....slow down, relax a bit. Don't try to maximise words per minute

But this car is competing only on closed circuit. It never goes on normal roads.
