Gryazin is not doing WRC2. Same like Solberg or Greensmith. So in terms of points, for Rossel it is not so important for Rossel to beat them. From WRC2 competitors he is easily fastest and he can easily score maximum points, if he will finish. Other podium contenders Camilli and Leo and even fourth Dapra are too far behind...

Yep but what is funny to me that at the stage end he says he took it easy while the onboard says something else. Lappi was the same way

Just look at the last sector onboard of Ogier and then Fourmaux from the last stage. Ogier was very controlled, neat and tidy and Fourmaux the whole opposite with very aggressive and moments basically in every corner. Even the Estonian commentators were holding their breath.

lol and he said it was a clean stage
Pushing or not, hats off to Fourmaux, new car and challenging the big boys straight from the first stage.

This is Monte, difficult to compare. I think there was also puncture for Pajari. Also important is starting order.

Yeah he has been the surprise so far. Didn’t expect him to be that fast already

But I’m afraid it won’t last until the end of the rally. He was pushing his luck already today many times.

Positive is that stability is learnable, raw speed is not, hope he can keep his speed up and stay consitent through whole season. When Ott retires then i have a new driver to follow 😀

I wouldn’t say he has been over the edge, indeed he hasn’t actually gone off yet unless I missed it. Neuville, Ogier, Evans and Tanak all have been off, some more than once.

I’m not saying he hasn’t been pushing, but he’s backed off when he felt it was dodgy and kept it all pointing the right way, so far…
