For me it depends how high is the bank they are standing on? Difficult to see from that angle, if it’s quite high it should be ok, but if it’s only a little above the road, they are right in the firing line there.
Either way, I would prefer to be more to the right of where they are standing given it’s downhill approach.

End of the high speed downhill section, i would never stand here.
