So it seems that teammate could help fixing the car. Wonder if they could swap some parts, if those who would be figthting for win or title could get some help from them.

I still don't understand why the gap from 3rd to 4th is 3 points when all of the other gaps (apart from 1st to 2nd) is 2 points. It would make more sense to me if it was 14 points for 3rd - 3 points behind 2nd & 2 points ahead of 4th like all of the lower placing gaps.

True, it makes no sense. I've never seen that in any motorsport series that I know.

Overall, the good thing is that they got rid of the Saturday ghost classification and the main points are allocated for the actual final classification.

Now all we need is a tarmac round in August 2026 and sorry that's the last time I mention this until they publish the calendar for that year.

whaaaat? now THATS the kind of drama that would be fun to watch!! haha wait until its Portugal or Acropolis, everybody crashed out and the mechanic's car is in P2 to see if they are stopping to fix the other cars haha

I think they have only 3 drivers available for that, those who are scoring points for manufacturers title. Yeah but it would be cool.

Standard 25-18-15-12-etc. makes 3 points gap starting from podium positions so it was sensible as there was gap upgrade starting for podium positions and additional gap upgrade for winner. Maybe they just changed 18 to 17 to reduce chances for winner not getting maximum points but if that is the case, they half-assed it. Evans would still beat winner Lappi in points in Sweden if 2025 system would be used in 2024.

Would prefer simple 6-5-4-3-2-1 for super sunday without power stage points. More simple and I am sure in vast majority of rallies there will be enough close battles on last stage to avoid borefest.
