Now, this: https://youtu.be/c7uIl-T-rLw?feature=shared
Is really cool, if only we had this back with the previous generation car…Only you know your true potential.

Hyundai's are running a "test" rally in Spain.
Neuville is trying 2025 version without Hybrid, while Mikkelsen is driving 2024 with Hybrid.
...Neuville is 11 seconds ahead of Mikkelsen after a few quite short stages.
...These stages are mostly on wide tarmac, lot of hairpins in the hills.. Mikkelsen is just very slow or the hybrid really doesn't matter too much.. Missing hybrid is probably sometimes just an excuse for the drivers not being competitive with the TOP guys.

Does Neuville run ballast or not, though? If he has a lighter car with a better power to weight ratio and possibly improved weight distribution,it makes sense to be faster.

Quite a head start for Neuville then compared to Tänak regarding next year.
Tested the 2025 machine before CER and now this.

Maybe he doesn't give a shit about extra testing anymore.. If I remember correct, he once said that he doesn't need just more kilometers in the car, he has driven enough.. He needs upgrades, but as the base of the car is same as 2022, then there isn't much to change..
His title chances were decided with Latvian parachute, Polish deer and Finnish birch..
E: but I am 99% sure or hope so, that he won't make all these mistakes next year and kick everyone's 4ss next year
dreaming is allowed

You are forgeting that he will have Rovanpera and Neuville to beat. And Seb probably. Ott is mistake and overpush prone as much as all the others. Sadly. But hey. It's good for the fans & the sport that there isn't only one who is dominating and taking it like it's too easy for him haha

Yeah imo making upgraded Rally2 makes perfect sense for Hyundai, they made a good progress with it, and given how bad their newly developed cars usually are, continuing on developing it is just a...
