Pajari could get the call, he is there and doing recce so would be best placed.
Anyone not at the event could do it I guess but would miss recce, unless so eobe doing recce only is in a position to step in.If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

The Recce is already ongoing, it's a bit too late for the call.
Even if Ogier is ok from the health point of view, he still needs recce. If he can not do that, he can not fight for the win, and the win is the only goal for Ogier.

Can they even swap if Pajari wasn't in the entry list?

22.4 CHANGE OF COMPETITOR AND/OR CREW MEMBER(S)
A change of competitor is permitted up to the close of entries.
After the close of entries, one member of the crew may be
replaced with the agreement of:
– the organisers, before the start of the administrative
checks.
– the Stewards, after the commencement of these checks and
before the publication of the start list.
Only the FIA may authorise the replacement of both crew
members or the competitor after the close of entries.
But better if it is not needed.

If Ogier missed today's recce, then I dont know how he could start the rally

It’s down to the stewards/FIA, but could either be a change of both crew, or if already on the list then just a car/class change. Of course you’d have to be very surprised if they wouldn’t allow it.
But let’s wait for more info and see what needs to happened. Whatever, its not a good day really. If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

Depends how much they had already done, P1 crews start earlier than others. As I said above if they are good to go then they could keep going until recce closes, I’m sure they’d be allowed. Then piece together the bits they missed, they might have been on 2nd run (faster) when the accident happened.
I just can’t really see it, especially if there are two others hurt (potentially badly) and its bound to affect you.If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

The last time I can recall a similar win was Makinen in Finland ‘94. One off drive and went and beat the top boys.
