    Luckily doesn’t so sound serious but..

    The accident occurred on a hill on a section of a gravel road. The rally car was driven by French driver Sébastien Ogier, next to him he had a pilot. A woman and a passenger were driving a passenger.

    For now, it is not known why the cars collided. Two helicopters of the air ambulance arrived on the scene - they took the driver of the rally car and the woman who was driving the passenger car. The other two people were taken to the hospital by ambulance. All of them are suspected of spinal and chest injuries.

    From the crews point of view, you’d like to think the recce cars are pretty much a decent spec rally car, obviously no helmets etc on.
    From the locals point of view, it’s another thing against rallying. Should we just go back to using maps and no recce?
