Why can´t Lappi just take it a bit easier? Hasn´t he learnt anything in the past years?

Huge pity for Lappi.
And here was me thinking just beforehand he was showing he should be chosen as a full time driver again for Hyundai next year.
Now all of a sudden things look so different.
The fine margins of rallying at the top level.

Shame for Lappi. Horrible end to the season, but overall I wouldn't hammer him too much if Hyundai intend to keep him. His pace and performance has generally been very good, and he's clearly helped improve the car. I dont see a better 3rd driver for hyundai next year than EP? He just needs to knock a percentage or two off his pace sometimes, and he would still be competitive

While not really a surprise it does make one wonder who will do the tarmac. Paddon has no recent or historical decent tarmac form. Lappi is therefore most likely, he does not have any good results...
