Amazing how tight the standings look
Thierry actually didn’t loose much with this rally. Just 11 points adrift#8 Ott Tänak - Martin Järveoja #8

Greensmith took the WRC2 power stage win.
Impressive speed again from him this weekend when he wasn’t having punctures.Last edited by RS; 23rd April 2023 at 13:19.

Congrats to Evans!
Glad that Tänak delivered nice points despite all the problems he had again. Punctures for Ogier and Rovanperä gave bonus for sure.
Glad that Lappi reached to the finish and got podium for the team.
It was nice that they did not canceled the rally. It was not funerals, it was enjoyable rally, and Breen was remembered and respected.
Takeaway - people should be also that much valued when/till they are alive.

Im really happy Evans broke the curse. And he did it on an event that the curse started on

I don't see much difference between him and the other 3 Fabia drivers (Gryazin, Solberg, Lindholm), also considering he just did a test rally and drove here every year. Sure relative to expectation before the season that can be seen as impressive.
When Rossel beats them all by over 10s on the first stage, it is easy to see the punctures as pressure-induced errors.

4 rallies in and Hyundai still without a win but i can see Neuville or Lappi having a good chance for it in Portugal with their starting positions

Massive time from Solberg, even faster than Munster by 3sec.. Once again shows that you have to take all out of the wrc2 to be successful in big car
