I very much agree with Woda in this statement:
“So I just hope it will be good for the market. A lot of people are just pushing for Rally2, Rally2, Rally2 and with no disrespect they cannot use Rally2, and they would be feeling much better [and] they would be actually more competitive.
“I’ve seen it in some of the championships where people move from Rally2 to Rally3, they have gone faster, and they move from Rally3 to Rally2 and they are still clocking the same stage times in much more expensive, much faster car.
“It just shows that Rally2 needs a big commitment right now – you need to have a driver who is really committed and is really on it. Rally3 is an easy car to drive, and it’s an enjoyable car to drive.”

Definitely. This is the big message that needs to be put across and especially in Britain where the Rally3 has made virtually no impact yet.

Only 3 Rally3 cars on the entry list of Rebenland Rally in Austria. And still 10 Mitsubishi Lancers. It doesn't seem likely that Rally3 is going to replace the old group N anytime soon:

On the subject of Rally3, Jon Armstrong said on a podcast he is developing the Fiesta with MSport Poland and is very happy with the improvements.
Let's see if he does any giant-killing in Fafe...

I think that 3 Rally3 cars in Austria is a good number, as Austria is kinda anomaly with how popular N4, PROTO and R4 cars are there.

But if you look closer you will see that the actual number is 0, because all those crews are from abroad...
Another example - the first round of Italian championship and the number of Rally3 cars is 1, why?

Will Ingram drive a Clio Rally3?
Just wondering due to the picture?
But this car is competing only on closed circuit. It never goes on normal roads.
