Looks like Huttunen is better off with an old Fabia in Sweden than the latest Fiesta so if Toyota can get their car to better-than-old-Fabia level they will be doing pretty well. Besides there are not enough new Fabia RS around yet to be lending one to Toyota.

The slightly strange part was they seem to be using the original Fabia, not Evo. Evo seems quite easily available.

It says something of the massive success of the Wrc2 class, when a driver can be competitive in a 2017 model car, that has done 40 rallies. It is of course well maintained, but still.
The Fabia R5 is still a very good car, and som drivers still prefer them to the Fabia Evo. That is also why they keep their value better than most RC2 cars!

I hope the Yaris 3 cyl engine will match its 4 cyl competitors, and not become an achilles heel.

Loubet showed more speed and had better results in a smaller program with the Puma. Munster had 2 full seasons and can't keep clearly ahead of McElrean,after being thoroughly beaten by Fourmaux....
Silly Season 2026
