Tanak wont be worried about Breen tomorrow with having nearly the same road position.

2nd on the road, 10 seconds behind Evans who was 3rd on the road, seems reasonable. Evans' day was quite worse, 24 seconds behind Tanak while driving the best car of the lot. Also no fightback possible, too few cars had problems today so Neuville will still sweep tomorrow.
Great rally so far by Ott, I don't think Breen or Lappi will be able to keep up with him on speed.

Thoughts after first day. Katsuta's first test as a poinst scoring driver is a fail unfortunately. Everyone else did well considering the conditions. Neuville had physical and road postions limitations so I can't be too critical. Loubet made it, his times don't matter that much but it's important that he improves as he goes and finishes the rally.

very good interview with Cyril, Hyundai has a proper team principal! Also liked that he was not afraid to call out the need to improve the coverage.

Seems today we had one stage (run twice) with big cleaning, and the rest had a little cleaning but it was not extreme.
What are we expecting the rest of the rally stages to be like?

Great event so far. Kalle is more behind than I expected but nice to see how fast Breen, Lappi and Takamoto have been. Tänak on ss7 was amazing! There’s motivation showing!
