Not according to Simon Larkin, at least not for 2024...sometimes their decision making process is beyond me: https://www.autosport.com/wrc/news/w...snow/10424403/
Edit: Sorry for double posting, didn't see the other article from motorsport.com outlet until after the post.Only you know your true potential.

driver of 208 at French forum
We stayed in the car until the spectators came to put us back on the wheels, but as already said the gendarmes were against the idea. Result the car remained too long on the roof (while we cut it in 3s), and the engine was blocked so abandonment, thank you cops...

I'm a "mocker" but I said what he did was impressive.
But it's a big psychological load to be leading a rally, to maintain that and not being allowed to make mistakes. Very different than being driving outside points, with a time loss at the start of a rally with nothing to lose and everything to win. And I think this is what Oliver needs to learn, to win rallies, to keep lead overnight, day to day. It's not easy. But I'm sure we'll see this soon
I assume it's a rhetorical question

Circumstances, circumstances...
For sure you´re right about (maybe) less pressure - I´m not sure myself if that´s correct, because of all things happened for Oliver being sacked from Hyundai and stepping down, starting with a known hard rally to begin with.
However - pressure or not. He was fastest guy in RC2 car (Note - I changed from WRC2 to RC2)"Reis vas pät pat kaar vas kut"
Tommi Mäkinen, back in the years...

Well. Great discussion, but it really suits to Oliver's personal thread.

So what’s the status of going back to Gap or not?
Yesterday I saw many French people in Twitter saying it’s confirmed but haven’t seen anything official yet#8 Ott Tänak - Martin Järveoja #8

Lowest point was probably when they had to put the top class drivers to run RX2e cars for the final races of the season, after the whole fire on the Lancias drama.
