correct 160.000 USD - Fabia S2000 was around 250-300.000 eur ready for rally.

Price cap for rally2 cars is 190.000. All new cars are 250.000€+ ready to start the rally.

Also rally3 price cap is 100.000€, but now you can find 1 season old cars which are selling for more than 100.000€ - how is this possible?
Simple, new car, ready to start the rally is around 120.000€. But how, if FIA price cap is 100.000€?
Checked Rally3 Fiesta price when it came, prices might have changed

Rally ready car in either Gravel or Asphalt config 99 900 euro
VIN number registration 10 000 euro
Gravel or Asphalt conversion kit 10 000 euro

    total 120 000

    Normal equipment/ spares package chosen by most drivers/teams 10 000-30 000 euro

In grand total 130 to 150 000 euro

So aprox 50% of a Rally2 car, with same equipment.

Toyota will have indeed three cylinders. They could use an external team in 2024 for running the WRC2 team.

"It is true that it is a three-cylinder engine, because the rally car is based on a standard car. The GR Yaris has three cylinders. A rally car is based on that car and that engine", Latvala explains.

Good to have clarity from the team, remembering all the arguments about the 1.6T in the original Fiesta R5.

About whether it used the engine from the Fiesta ST base-car, or another Ford engine adapted to fit the size regs.
