We had a small discussion here, regarding max price of the Rally2 in 2023.
And I dont remember.
What will it cost for a new Fabia with one undercarriage?
And for a new one with both undercarriages and some needed spares, that normally is bought as a starter pack. How much is that aprox?
Is it more or less the same price for all Rally2s, due to maxprice?Last edited by Sulland; 29th November 2022 at 15:11.

All this FIA price cap for different classes of cars are big bullshit.
We all know how developed S2000 price cap, which was if I remember
correct 160.000 USD - Fabia S2000 was around 250-300.000 eur ready for rally.
Price cap for rally2 cars is 190.000. All new cars are 250.000€+ ready to start the rally.
Also rally3 price cap is 100.000€, but now you can find 1 season old cars which are selling for more than 100.000€ - how is this possible?
Simple, new car, ready to start the rally is around 120.000€. But how, if FIA price cap is 100.000€?

Loop in the rulebook. FIA states that the car as to work, doesn't say that it should be in a racing state. Few years ago, when the first Hyundai R5 car was introduced I asked if it would be possible to buy with 190k to someone from HMS. They said yes. It was just not race ready.

That's the problem with all of this. It's all "he said that she said that somebody in the next street heard that ......" We're relying on sports journo's with no technical background relaying...
