Seeing this makes me miss Citroën a little bit more, yes I know ever since Loeb left them (full time) at the end of 2012, they never returned to past glories but this makes me feel a little bit sad they’re not there ( or Peugeot for that matter), hope one of them will be back but realistically, there’s more of a chance of a manufacturer withdrawing than the other way round.

    Japan 2022 - 36 entries ? finishers

Monza 2021 as WRC finale 81 start entries. 67 finishers.

Even if it was a bit goofy. Monza was held a week later than Rally Japan is.

Would or Could Monza make a more appropriate finale for the WRC or what other event would be suitable as the WRC''s final round? (Maybe reply when the Japan event is finished)

Unless Monza was 90% mountain stages and two or three circuit superspecials, Monza never again.

Same for me. A proper gravel rally in Wales or elsewhere in the forrest in UK with two or three park stages (like the old ones in the nineties) on thursday evening. friday, saturday and sunday in the woods. date: end of november with some stages in the dark.

I miss the days traveling to Wales and watching the rally in the muddy weather. The first pint in a warm and cozy pub after a long day on the stages was the best one. Cheers.

To me as a kid in the ‘90s the RAC always meant northern England and southern Scotland - any combo of North Yorkshire, Hamsterley, Kielder, Lake District and Scottish Borders is the best a rally can be IMO

I'm maybe a bit biased, as my first RAC was 1979, but i reckon the RAC or Wales Rally GB or whatever you want to call it will always be hard to beat......
