A little bit unbelievable if they are deciding between the 2019 champ, 2nd best driver at the current season so far, that guy who can squeeze everything out of the machinery and Lappi, who is a likeable chap, but average if you compare him with Tänak. Just funny
And the leftover goes to M-Sport (which Lappi has denied and for him it's TGR or nothing)
It's only possible if Hyundai pulls out of WRC which isn't really surprise if they did. Then the driver pack is really mixed and I feel sorry for Breen because he will definitely be out of a job in that case.

yeah, but assume (even if improbable) tanak is pissed with hiunday after the adamo's departurte and want to change.
you are toyota and the choice is:
- take a former champion and have an internal fight with kalle
- stay with lappi and a clear first driver.
both have downsides.

Remember that all three teams signed a commitment to stay and compete for three years when hybrid rules were introduced in 2021 (https://www.wrc.com/en/news/2021/wrc...rid-agreement/).

It seems like the kiss of Death for RB to say they won't replace Yuki in 2025. Of course if Max departs for Mercedes, they might change their minds. Read some rumors that Honda is trying to get a...
