Seem to recall Evans having what he felt was a defining PET test in Finland last yea, viz-a-viz set-up. Wondering whether those lessons are being to very good use here! Currently, he is no doubt a step up on everyone!

Have to admit that atm at least, the rally isn't the most interesting, Toyota dominating again (or at the very least take the win again), M-Sport are way off now with Breen out for the day, & Rovanperä doesn't have to push for the win as even if Evans does take this one, he'd still be some 60+ points behind, at this point the championship feels like who finished second which is a shame since we did get the new regs for this season.
Still early days in the rally I know, but Toyota's domination is starting to take it's toll, nothing against the rally or the competitors, it just feels like we've seen this situation a few times before this season. I can't stress this enough, I hope Hyundai get their parts together for 2023, so we'll have some competition, also I hope Tänak leaves them for M-Sport or something. I'm aware I'm stating the obvious, it's just a shame we have these (still) magnificent cars yet we're not enjoying them to the full extent, like we did back in 2017.Only you know your true potential.

I take my words back about Lappi as negative surprise so far. I hope he can turn it around in the afternoon when brake problem is fixed.
Shame for Breen. This was the rally where he could have showed his real potential.

Paddon out with mechanical problems.

Your man Vaher looks good. First time I have seen him drive, very impressive. Not just driving, but mental approach seems very calm.
