I expected better from Jimmie Johnson
I didn't expect him to be instantly up front. But given that he did OK in the IMSA prototypes, I thought that he'd be doing better than he has so far. Looking a little oogly out there, Jimmie.

TBH, I wasn't all that surprised. I mean, here's a 45-year-old IndyCar rookie who hasn't driven on street courses before and who hasn't been particularily outstanding on the NASCAR road courses, either (I think he's only won one in all of his time in NASCAR?).
But I agree, St. Pete was a bit embarrassing - kind of reminded me of Mazepin's F1 performance so farOct. 31, 1999 - one of the blackest days in motorsports.
