similar to the junior wrc regs, the fia have announced a new driver eligibility regulation. Effective immediately rally 1 wrc championship will belimited to drivers under the age of 50 years old.

He really is something very special, sure he may not go and win this rally, but that is an amazing effort.
For MSport it’s great in isolation, but it must also be bittersweet as that shows what the car is capable of.
They need somehow to put a package together to get Tanak out of Hyundai.

nobody mentions Thierry but i would say it was evenly impressive stage from him, considering his starting position

still a lot to go today, the times were fine on first two stages for him, so yeah either he made a change for this stage that didnt work or smth....with couple of splits he just dropped over a second, with second split he gave away 4 secs

and still 4th overall. Seemd quite dramatic lost when it happened, didn't expect others starting from back all lost as well.

The youngsters must be, or at least should be, a little embarrased by a part time driver, soon 50 years old man beating them on gravel !!
