    US Open Wheel Racing Entries/Rumours that never happened

    Can include non-starters as technically they entered but never actually raced and tests that never went anywhere.

    There was the infamous Eagle Aircraft Flyer Special that Ken Hamilton tried and failed to qualify for the 1982 Indy 500 with.
