    Think these car panels come off easier from the chassis and make crashes look worse.

    Indeed, that's a spaceframe accident for you, panels all over the landscape and a skeleton of a car. On the upside, car is also easier to fix if frame and internal components just survived the roll.

    Yeah about that. Definitely the damage looks worse than than it really is. I started to think about branches, trees and stumps. If the bodywork (especially doors) come off so easy then there is nothing that can stop these kind of things penetrating the cabin. But lets hope that FIA knows what they are doing and the regulations have taken this in consideration.
