2022 Crystal Ball Predictions

My first Crystal Ball Predictions

1. Tänak – most stage wins and WDC. Also, we won’t hear him complaining about not trusting the car/can’t go to the limit like in two previous seasons as now Hyundai behaves like he likes it.
2. Toyota - manufactures champions. Hyundai will lose it because Toyota’s 3rd drivers will do a better job.
3. Because of limited testing days and begin behind, Hyundai will do at least 3 local rallies with Rally 1 car.
4. Pirelli will be under pressure to build stronger tyres as the weight of the car has increased and there will be too many tyre problems.
5. Loeb will win a rally.

2. Breen will win a rally
3. R5 car to finish in top 5 overall in a rally
4. Rossel WC in WRC2
5. One of the Rally1 cars will get disqualified until middle season for technical irregularities 😂

Actually, one of my predictions could have been "Rally1 cars will not start events outside WRC"

1. Toyota wins World Constructor Championship again.
2. NZ gets dropped (unfortunately).
3. Fourmaux wins on Tarmac.
4. Deutschland gets it’s round back.
5. Rally1 cars will have hybrid related issued on the tough hot gravel rallies and Rally Sweden.

1; Neuville to be world champ
2; Breen and Loeb both take a win
3; Paddon doing 2 drives in a Hyundai rally 1 car
4; Monza fils the emty calender spot in august
5; one crash this year where HY warnig lights will turn red

1. Toyota will win the manufacturers championship
2. Breen will get his first win but won't finish in the top 3 in the championship (hope I'm wrong!)
3. Fourmaux and Solberg both get their first podiums
4. Evans will win the Championship
5. At least 6 different drivers will win a round.

Remember, no more predictions, strict deadline at the start of shakedown (because it will tell something about the performance of the cars)

Forgot to post before Monte but I'll be honest! Four predictions from me since one of my pre-monte assumptions was already wrong.

i. Greensmith will not win a stage all year...

1. Rovanperä WDC
2. Toyota WCC
3. Lappi crashes out of a battle for the win in Finland
4. Fourmaux nets two podiums, both on gravel, and helps M-Sport finish ahead of Hyundai in the team's championship.

2 M Sport/Ford Constructors Champions
3 Safari Rally will lose its place on the calendar after a significant security incident
4 A major review of the safety light system for the Rally 1 cars will be carried out after several significant incidents including both spectators and officials
5 Ogier will not win the Monte
