It was a very strange decision to not complete the procedure in the regulations. If they were going to allow lapped cars to overtake, then they are obliged to allow all cars to overtake before starting the race. That did not happen.

If you leave lapped cars to unlap themselves you must leave them all unlap, not just the ones required to orchestrate a finish.

We are all for that, but it must be fair and not appear to be manufactured. I am happy for Verstappen, he gave it his all and drove some magnificent races this season.

I can agree with the decision not to give a penalty, but it was once again "à la tête du client" stewarding. But it's been like that all year now.

Max torpedo'd in and pushed him wide. When you overtake the rules require you give a car's width. Max didn't give Hamilton a cars width, and forced him to go wide. He was entitled to keep the place. You can't force a car off the track and expect to gain a position.

Well no, hamilton also had the chance to pit then. It was not luck, it was bad strategy from mercedes.
