Max totally lucked it today, but let's not forget that he would likely have already been champion if not effectively taken out by Bottas in Hungary, so despite the huge luck here I'm going to recognise his WDC as a legitimate one.
Feel really sorry for Lewis though, that must hurt like hell.

It was a very strange decision to not complete the procedure in the regulations. If they were going to allow lapped cars to overtake, then they are obliged to allow all cars to overtake before starting the race. That did not happen.

what? i could swear i read that builders needed to have some kinda of manufacturer 'agreement' and that the body pannels needed to be more or less like an actual road car. i think NOT having to...
