Ok thank you for the explanation. So basically Ostberg could win very easily WRC-2 in Finland whereas there should be a lot of competition.

RC2 is clearly an absolute mess in WRC. The intention of separating WRC-2 (Pro) and WRC-3 was not a bad idea because Skoda factory team was clearly a competitive advantage for its driver but since Skoda has withdrawn officially, I’m not sure it is always needed.

Personnally, I think they should come back to something close to before 2018:
    - all RC2 cars in WRC-2 championship.
Each RC2 manufacturer (Skoda, Hyundai, M-Sport, Citroen, VW) can register one team for a team championship (could also be a private team such as Toksport today)
The best driver in the championship not entered by a manufacturer would win a special title (WRC-2 Amateur or whatever the name)

    - all RC3/RC4 cars in WRC-3 championship (seven rounds maximum with the best of 6 counting, 1 maximum outside Europe to avoid Michel Fabre’s strategy) and the best young driver (let say 27 or 28 years old) in the championship would win the Junior Championship.

Would be clearer in my opinion: only one main championship per class + a support championship title for the best ranked drivers among certain conditions.
