Indy 500 May 30, 2021
Helio Castroneves wins his fourth Indy 500 race. Congratulations to him! But my racer, Simon Pagenaud comes in 3rd, and he was coming on strong. Perhaps if he had a couple more laps he could have caught the leader. Not bad at all for a 26th place start. It was great to see all the fans in the stands again, even if it was only allowed to be filled to half capacity. Simon has now moved up to 4th place in the standings.

I'm really delighted for Helio - who would have thought he can win it again at 46 with a new outfit after a fourth title eluded him for over ten years with Penske following his 2009 triumph? Also, at an average speed of over 190 mph, it was the fastest Indy 500 ever.
It was great to see the young guns (Palou, O'Ward, VeeKay, Herta) mix it up with the veterans (Helio, Dixon, Sato, Carpenter, Kanaan and even Montoya).Oct. 31, 1999 - one of the blackest days in motorsports.

It's the big question and an existential problem... what is rallying for in the future ? In the past it was to sell road cars. To prove your brand's cars had speed, quality and reliability. Most...
