I am a simple man from the rural areas, and I belive everything i read on the internet. Especially if there is a big carfactory that wrote it!
Joking aside, I am very impressed by the outputs of these small engines, and lets hope they are not going where we see engines goes up in smoke all the time!

The main issue i have with these engines is their cost. They push those tiny engines to the limit while they could use a stock engine with the same power that will cost way less and last much longer.
For starter cars i always found that stupid. Make the rules so that they can use whatever stock production engine they want under 200bhp. Seal it after putting it on the test bench so that they are all equal. That would save massively in cost while not making the cars any slower.

I well remember WRC after 2008-2009, when both Subaru and Suzuki pulled off, but eventually with the 1600 WRC cars it recovered very well. It was the same story, high costs, low return of...
