I'd say it's reasonably worse with rally cars than with stock cars because there is no airconditioning which greatly reduces air humidity.

they seem to be needing them for the next stages.
Out of the Michelin crews everyone has 2, except Lappi with 3 and Kopecky with 0.

    For Pirelli we don't know.

True, but still with average speed, as a regularity rally, as Monte Carlo Historique

I'm surprised more effort wasn't made to slow Veiby down approaching the scene...

I have no real issue with stopping the stage under the circumstances. Given how frequent stage stoppages can be now with the (semi) all seeing eye of All Live, the small number of stages on modern WRC itineraries, combined with the already short length of rallies, are a disaster. A few cancelled stages and you barely have a rally! It embarrassing and the WRC bubble need to wake up...

This was probably life-saver move. Imagine this rail ending enter into car from front window... Also Kubica's injury comes to my mind with that. Went well.

They do that after an accident in which Breen's co-driver Gareth Roberts died (Targa Florio 2012).
