Msport engineers must be present, any benefits to them ?

I know Bertelli is slow but computers can still give some information (grip levels, temperatures etc)

NO.

but Pirelli hasn´t had any tyres for WRC17 before...
They only have WRC2/3/Rally2 tyres available

can't be sure, but i guess so. Kajetanowicz used a fiesta '17 spec with pirelli tires in poland couple of years ago...

"M-Sport has not stopped. In fact, the preparer did have a test, although not directly dedicated to its official structure. In fact, some member of the team has supervised the Lorenzo Bertelli test in the Tuscany region of Italy. The Italian driver has placed himself at the controls of his Ford Fiesta WRC in a two-day test to prepare for his return to competition."
