Again, the reference was to Absolute Rally podcast, why is Eddie always hiding that source? Someone could start listening to them for mentioning here.

It's interesting what Veiby says: it seems to be the team's target to get the WRC2 title. Usually the R5 drivers say they don't follow the separate WRC2/3 series standings and just want to be the fastest R5 driver to show the team bosses.

The same reason he tries to avoid real competition this year. He is just not good enough.

He is kinda stuck in the middle, he is too fast for the norwegian championship, but too slow for wrc2/3. Perhaps he should try erc or other national championships, that might be more his level.
