It’s now easier for Ingrams mom to beg money for next season.

Yeah, sure he'd have won half of the events if he had more budget...
Anyway, congratulations to the champion. I'd also like to mention Oliver Solberg, who is for me the best driver of the season, who was 5th in ERC before Hungary, despite having competed in only one event! What a championship!

The victory reminds me Pons's PWRC title. Let's hope that this time the history doesn't repeat itself because for Pons a title without a single win was the last thing he did on the international scene.
Anyway Ingram deserves the title simply because he has the highest score and he would win if all events counted as well. In fact the rules favoured Lukyanuk as the faster driver.Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

Won the Championship though! Don't get me wrong, I think we all love Lukyanuk, but I don't see what Ingram did wrong, he did what he had to do. Okay, if he'd been able to out pace Lukyanuk and be as consistent as he was, we'd be talking about him like we talk about Rovanpera or Oliver Solberg, but he often wasn't too far off Lukyanuk's pace and didn't leave you feeling like he was constantly on the edge of throwing it all away.

Almost all Finn's since Paavo Nurmi who are fast in their sport have been called "Flying", particularly the 1960's rally drivers, but I was actually thinking of "Flying Finnish" - the timing line at...
