Gutted. We hit a massive rock in fifth gear which broke the suspension. Spectators said it wasn’t there this morning and must have rolled down from the bank. Same place as @JariMattiWRC

Very unfortunate if the rock has just fallen down onto the outside of the road.

Sometimes it seems that people keep forgetting that to have 3 or 4 guys in a few seconds, you need all of them to be going at their maximum. And having a six second gap is nothing you can really control, when the top 4 are going at it.

Shit happens and the world doesn't stop.

And you can see one more stone "is waiting". If someone goes a bit wide there it may help to roll it down.

It does appear that the Polo is still the quickest car by a good margin. Must be frustrating for the guys in Mlada.

Why isn't it C3 R5? Ostberg was fastest everytime he drove it against Rovanperä...

I don't think that anyone from Boleslav is frustrated from winning every event where they started with the new car (Mladá is adjective which means young while Boleslav is a name of a man - strangely while Boleslav is a man's name, Mladá Boleslav is feminine form - but enough of our language lessons ).

I thought he said there was a concrete block last year which wasn't there at recce so he made his note faster, but was too fast and ran a bit wide and hit the rock which he hadn't seen?

Was expecting Latvala to loose some time with both front and rear aero missing.

Well.. the conclusion is obvious: The best aero is the one you don't have.

No he said there was a concrete bollard on the inside of the previous RH corner last year that was not there this year

Seems the others get more out of the upgrades than him in this rally.
