There is no Proto supplier in CZ and only one R4 supplier who did not claim anything about R5 as far as I know.

But I think I found Your source. Van den Heuvel is claiming in his comparison that the Dytko Proto car costs 15 Eur/km and the R5 50 Eur/km. For me both values seem to be too low but maybe I am wrong.

You're not wrong, even R2 cars are more expensive than 15/km...

Well, how often you change the tires, what fuel you use and what spec. your proto is running in. I can imagine a basic proto running 98 fuel, doing 15 eur per SS km.

I have, yes, quite few old Gr.N for rent, with almost std. spec. They are ofc. not very competitive and hence not comparable in that way, but it`s possible. And essentially, what are Protos based on....

I think this cost/km discussion is affected with the fact that some sources are talking about cost of running your own car, and some are talking about cost of renting a car.
