Vanneste driving THX Polo R5. Rumours were that Abbring would use the Polo from Hans Weijs. Would be obvious aswell because they know eachother very well.

Yes you were right, seems they got their 2nd Polo some time ago. Snijers won't start though, BMA tried to get Riedemann as a subsitute but didn't work out. Still don't like that Masters creation, very ridicilous because RACB doesn't allow 2.0 WRC's to enter. Otherwise we should've seen 2 Corolla WRC's and a Lancer WRC aswell..

Yes, they have second Polo already for some time. Breen is using BMA car I think? Pity that no 2,0l WRC cars, would be nice.

Breen is using a car from BMA indeed, funded by local sponsors.

Yeah, I find the 'Masters' concept frustrating, taking away from the main show in exchange for a few demo runs. If they want to get Thierry back, I don't understand the issue with him just running an R5 car with actual competition. Disappointing that Neuville, Bouffier and Camili are all there but none of them competing in the actual rally...

Still, setting off in a few hours and looking forward to getting there.

That was the problem, Neuville didn't want to drive the R5 car and Hyundai Motorsport probably also not so they created the Masters Rally for him and hoped to get some extra entries by Toyota, Msport and Citroën..

But that teams are focusing to Rally Estonia as they pay them more
