Shouldn't have expected Sordo to be able to hold out - this was always likely. He's driven brilliantly but let's not forget Sordo and Mikkelsen etc had superb road position compared to the others guys on the first day - particularly Tanak

yes, sordo usually falls away at this stage... especially as he has just lost the lead. will be interesting to see this afternoon

Today Kopecky struggling with rear grip as did Kalle yesterday, seems they haven’t got the new car set up perfectly yet.

I guess they use a different vehicle for recce, but during the rally itself I can imagine it’s pretty difficult to see stuff over that humongous bulky bonnet on the Citroen.

Yes, Tanak is defiantly on fire, but till now, Sordo has only lost 8s. It will interesting in the 2nd loop. Ogier was on Tanaks pace before he clipped something... when he slotted in behind him
