Another technical failure in VW Polo GTi R5. This time the victim was Dieter Depping who had to withdraw from Sachsen Rallye after problems with fuel pressure.

I remember that in the beginning, all technical failures with Fiesta R5 were also mentioned here on the forum, but that was back in 2013... Since then the car became much more reliable.
The PSA R5's were also very much discussed here for that reason, and also disappeared soon for being too unreliable (and before that got sorted, they were not competitive enough anymore). And Fabia, well, it has always been a reliable car, with most "decent" teams, retirements are very rare, there aren't so much to mention.

You can name it whatever you want. Until now there is only one homologation - Ford Fiesta R5. We will see how they will name this brand new Fiesta.

M-Sport is the first team to make a second R5 car, being based on the newest version of its road-car.
Therefore the Mk8 Fiesta R5 isnt an 'evolution'.
Hyundai Mk 1? That was MSD.
