EDIT2: Actually after double checking the attached pic does indeed show the correct spot in the roadbook.
Seems to just show "go trough gate" (probably marking a pole on the right side, since both sides were open and there was a pole on the right in both openings it's imo hard to punish people for not following it.

That was my take at the time I wrote the post. But the stewards decisions says there is an explanation of the symbol on some other page in the roadbook. So that it says "drive trough the cattle-gate (or whatever the right term is in english" . Left side is a cattle-gate,right isn't.
