I haven't seen the car up close yet, but I believe the answer is yes. They likely put all of their mechanical parts including the TRD-developped engine from their old car in to the Dytko bodyshell.
Edit: I just noticed that the Yaris has the same NZ numberplate as last year. So, is it a new Dytko bodyshell or just some aero updated parts?Last edited by Rally Hokkaido; 3rd February 2019 at 12:44.

I just spent 25m looking randomy around Hokkaido in Google Street View and the impression---other than being really quite bueatiful---is the place looks to be swarming with lots of squiggly roads...which considering all the mountains isn't that surprising...
So the question is why is getting road permissions so difficult? Bureaucracy? Local populace resistance?John Vanlandingham

My understanding is Hokkaido is okay for a stage rally if there is enough forward planning. The Japan APRC round has been held there for nearly 20 years.
Gunma prefecture (where the 2nd Japanese Aprc rally round was scheduled for 2019) (north west of Toyko) is one of the places the touge racing, night drifting on unclosed mountain roads started. The officials are probably a bit over the car culture types.

He could be entered Rally of Indonesia on July with this car. However, it's still just a concept
