    SS2 is where you can use 2015 pace notes for all of the stage. SS1 hasn't been run since 1989 and SS3 only in the opposite direction in 2015 (so no pace notes to be reused). So the pace improved on SS3 where he had to make completely new pace notes.

    Quite fast average speeds on these new Friday stages:
    SS1 102.1 km/h
    SS2 108.1 km/h
    SS3 103.3 km/h

    The average speed of the whole rally has been under 100 km/h since 1974. Could this be the fastest Tour de Corse ever?

    Ford unexpectedly fast
    Citroen (or Ogier specifically) unexpectedly slow
    Toyota no real surprises
    Hyundai a bit faster than expected with Neuville and Sordo and as slow as feared with Loeb
