    Is this a 'proper' stage? Must be down to conditions but still impressive from R5 boys.

    Well Msport would have dropped Loeb behind Neuville for 1 car better road position at this point

    In any case Neuville was very vocal about wanting more teamorders at Hyundai, so it's not likely Loeb finishes just one position ahead.

    Imo it's the tires +tirewear.

    R5 have new tires with longer studs and are less likely to loose them due to less power and speed in corners. All together it adds to much more grip for them in this stage.

    Tarmac SSS quite often. Kopecky in Germany for example.
