Mikkelsen and Lappi should really take advantage. Mikkelsen really needs to considering the poor form he's in and then the bad start in Monte. There's no excuses here - home rally, superb car in these conditions, seemingly good road position and a good previous record here.

Meanwhile we saw last year what Ostberg did in the c3 and especially Breen - so maybe Lappi can use the road order advantage and get himself into the fight at the front too.

Evans and Suninen maybe likewise on day 1, would be nice to see a Ford up there. Don't think it'll be Pontus somehow though

Depending on conditions the road may become already worn and slower for Lappi, Mikkelsen etc.

As I understand tomorrow’s stages are in good condition. The front runners must use it big tomorrow. That’s what Järveoja is also saying. Saturday could be huge lottery.

    Shakedown time matters to Suninen:
Sixth fastest time on Shakedown is a good confirmation that we have found nice set-up for these conditions in @RallySweden - starting tonight at 20.08 local time. https://t.co/PJdvCk3QG5

Really interesting rally starting soon. I believe Lappi, Mikkelsen and Suninen can really fight for podium positions. Ott and JML will be really fast, now it's really time for JML to fight for his positions in the team. On SD Neuville was faster than I expected.

What I'm really waiting is WRC2 battle. Mads is favorite with his experience, however I expect Kalle to be fastest WRC2 in most of stages. Waiting nice fight from Pietarinen, Lindholm, Pieniazek and Greensmith.
