Testing crashes happen. Isn't a big deal..., unless it's Meeke.

I'm meaning nobody seems to making a big deal out of it on here (and rightly so), unlike when Meeke crashed the Toyota in testing
.
Loeb is just another name to add to Neuville, Mikkelsen, Ogier, Latvala and Meeke etc who have gone over the limits in testing in the last year or so.

I see it only takes 1,5 month to forget. Feel free to look back a few pages here to confirm, but reality was:
1. Crash picture was posted
2. Multiple people here and on twitter started million teories how the picture was fake
3. Lots of talk whether it's fake or not
4. Toyota (and Meeke) were silent with Tommi even making some off-hand comment that it can be photoshop
5. 3-4 days later Makinen confirmed the crash happened.
So the interesting part was that Toyota seemingly tried to hide it (understandable since they just hired a driver that got fired for crashing) and how fanboys immediately tried to claim it was fake.

Did Andreas's Friday test go ahead as planned ?
Have not seen anything to confirm if "worked through the night to rebuild the i20 Coupe WRC for Andreas Mikkelsen's test on Friday" was completed in timehttps://twitter.com/KiwiWRCfan adding a fans perspective to Twitter

Kind of proves my point....
Either way it was a perceived as a big deal, as it generated a lot of interest for a mere testing crash that is a par for the course. Seeing as people felt the need to claim it was fake or never happened, and generated big interest from not just fanboys, but people amused by it/having a laugh over it.
