The way that the flyaway rounds work is just killer for privateer teams, but I also think that they don't help themselves. Do they all really need the stuff that they take to the European events?

That might actually be a bigger blow for WRX and ERX than anything else. One thing would've been if Team Hansen had gone down to ERX for a year, but while Kenneth is on the track-group for WRX with FIA, they decide that GRC Europe is better than ERX.

I have subsequently been told that Kenneth Hansen has plans beyond GRC Europe, so don't rule out seeing Timmy and Kevin in World or Euro RX!

Indeed, if they don't enter World RX then it's a huge loss for the championship.

The Huyndai's were originally meant for Petter to use but when VW came with an offer Petter asked Grönholm if he would like to to take over.
