Re Evans, it sounds like he's lost his own Red Bull sponsorship and has to earn a wage at dads Ford dealership. If so, and if he always gets so little testing time, this will have to be taken into account in his performance.

It won't be taken into account by Malcolm. This is it for Evans, either step up and deliver properly or he's done for good. This will be his 5th full season in the top class and he's shown very little in terms of top line speed or even consitency while on the same package as other drivers. I still think he's very fortunate to have a drive this year over someone like Breen who has never done a full season, or Paddon who has shown more pace and won an event in equal conditions as other drivers.

So how many hours he works at his dad's business, or if he gets a few days less testing that other drivers, won't really be taken into account at all in the grand scheme of things. It's time for him to deliver
