Got a left over plane ticket cheap so I'm suddenly heading for Spain tomorrow, staying down in Miami Platja so pretty close to Sunday and Friday stages at least. About time i got to see WRC on tarmac

Are all stages open for recce?

Few years ago the gravel stages were blocked by police on Thursday afternoon.

I began my short time in motorsports in 1967...in the woods..Alligator Enduro in Flar-duh.
Began car motorsports in 1984...in the woods..

I've seen--and met--plenty of big promo poseurs. They don't get the blood pressure up..Never has.
They're poseurs, its obvious..it's boring.

And their legions, battalions of fans who always say the exact same things "It's good for the sport"..They're boring too.

In your life, aren't you bored with 24/7 of hype and "promotion"?

Last year we couldn't recce all gravel parts. Some blocks we were able to go pass by a small detour. But before Thursday afternoon, it shouldn't be a problem.
